Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg, age 72, is Chairman of Strategic Investment Group, a group of affiliated investment management firms, which she founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer from 1987 to 2014. From 1976 to 1987, she was Chief Investment Officer of the Pension Investment Division at the World Bank. Prior to joining the World Bank, she served as an independent consultant in the fields of economics and finance, as a lecturer at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela and as Treasurer of the C.A. Luz Eléctrica de Venezuela in Caracas. Ms. Ochoa-Brillembourg is a Director of Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A. In addition, she is a Director of The Atlantic Council of the United States and a lifetime member of The Council on Foreign Relations. She is also a member of the Dean’s Executive Committee, Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Ochoa-Brillembourg is Founding Chairman of the Youth Orchestra of the Americas and serves on the Investment Committee and Board of Overseers of New England Conservatory. She is also on the Advisory Committee of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University. She is a former Director of the World Bank/International Monetary Fund Credit Union, General Mills, Inc., US Airways Group Inc., Emerging Markets Management LLC, Harvard Management Company, and Vassar College.
