NEW YORK, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) announced today that its fourth quarter and full-year 2011 results will be issued on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 via news release before the start of NYSE trading. The news release will be available for downloading from www.mcgraw-hill.com.

Harold McGraw III, Chairman, President and CEO, and Jack Callahan, Executive Vice President and CFO, will host a conference call/webcast at 8:30 AM Eastern time on January 31, 2012 to discuss the results. They will also update investors on McGraw-Hill's progress toward the Growth & Value Plan and the planned separation into two public companies. The presentation is open to all interested parties and may include forward-looking information.
