NEW YORK, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) announced today that its fourth quarter 2005 results will be released before the start of NYSE trading on Wednesday, January 25, 2006.

At 8:30 AM Eastern Time, following the earnings announcement, the Corporation's senior management will host a conference call to discuss the results. The call will be open to all interested parties and will also be available by Webcast. Discussions may include forward-looking information.
